Rúchún 如純, zì Shànyī 善一 (“Sole Good”); often referred to as Tiānlóng Shànyī 天龍善一 or Yǔān Tiānlóng 羽安天龍. LínjìYángqí dharma-heir of Shànquán Dáwèi 善權達位 (1618–1684, cf. KR6q0581). Lifedates unknown. Native of Qián Xíān 黔習安 (Guìzhōu); lay surname Zhāng 張.
Formation. At 17 took tonsure at Fǎhǎisì 法海寺 under elder Língguāng 靈光. Two years in, met his real teacher Quán héshàng 權和尚 (= Dáwèi), given the wànfǎ guī yī gōngàn. Took full ordination at Yúnjiùshān 雲鷲山 under Dǐngxiāng 頂相和尚. Cān under Tiāntāi Yuèfēng 天台月峰. Final yìnzhèng under Shànquán Dáwèi at Sōngkuī 松巋. After Quán’s death (1684) traveled ten years in Zhèjiāng. Then his fǎshū Gǔyuán 古源和尚 invited him to open dharma at Tiānlóng.
Abbacies. Tiānlóngshān Pǔdé chánsì 天龍山普德禪寺; Sōngkuīshān Pǔguāng chánsì 松巋山普光禪寺 (three years); returned to Tiānlóng.
Major editorial work. Compiler of KR6q0036 《黔南會燈錄》 Qiánnán huìdēnglù — the major regional Chán biographical anthology of Guìzhōu, drawing on southwestern yǔlù he encountered while traveling. The 1673 preface dates an earlier draft; final compilation continued through the 1690s.
Disciples. Xuézhèng 學正 (recorder of KR6q0580); Míngzhuǎn 明轉.
