Southern-Sòng Nánshān Vinaya monk of the Língzhī 靈芝寺 (Hángzhōu) line; lifedates not preserved (DILA A000477). Sobriquet Shàngwēng 上翁. According to his own Péngzhé zhēn, he was abbot at Húxīnsì 湖心寺 (one of West Lake’s island monasteries) during the Shàodìng 紹定 era (1228–1233). His two surviving polemical works are:

  • Péngzhé zhíbiàn 蓬折直辨 (KR6k0221, X1111), one fascicle;
  • Péngzhé zhēn 蓬折箴 (KR6k0222, X1112), one fascicle, with a colophon dated Bǎoyòu 2 = 1254.

Both are sustained refutations of Tiěwēng Shǒuyī’s (守一) Zhōngnán jiāyè (KR6k0219); the two together form one of the most polemically-charged exchanges within Southern-Sòng Nánshān Vinaya history.
