Shǒuyī Kōngchéng 守一空成 (Qīng)
A Qīng-period Línjì Chán monk; míng Shǒu-yī 守一, zì / hào Kōng-chéng 空成. Affiliated with the Sū-zhōu Nán-chán-sì 蘇州南禪寺 (the Wú-zhōng / Sū-zhōu region), where he is identified in the colophon of his principal work as “吳中南禪沙門守一空成” (“the Wú-zhōng Nán-chán śramaṇa Shǒu-yī Kōng-chéng”). Lifedates not transmitted; the work 《宗教律諸宗演派》 KR6r0173 Zōng-jiào-lǜ zhū-zōng yǎn-pài (X1667, 1 juǎn) — his re-edited compilation of the yǎn-pài generational-character mnemonic verses for the Chán, doctrinal-school, and vinaya-school sub-lineages of late-imperial Chinese Buddhism — is dateable to the late 19th century by its inclusion of recent Qīng-period sub-lineage materials. He is distinct from the Southern-Sòng Nán-shān Vinaya master Tiě-wēng Shǒu-yī described above.
