Sòng Jiǒng 宋褧 (1294–1346), zì Xiǎnfū 顯夫, native of Dàdū 大都 (Yānjīng / Běijīng region). Tàidìng 1 (1324) jìnshì. Rose to Hànlín zhíxuéshì concurrently jīngyán jiǎngguān; posthumous name 文清 Wénqīng. With his elder brother Sòng Běn 宋本 (the senior of two distinguished brothers from the same family, both in the guǎngé), contemporaries called them the “Greater and Lesser Sòng” 大宋 / 小宋 (after the famous Sòng-dynasty Sòng Yǎzhī and Sòng Qí brothers). His collection Yānshí jí KR4d0512 was edited by his nephew Kuò 彍 (Tàicháng fènglǐ láng). Recommended for the Zhèjiāng xíngzhōngshūshěng re-cut in Zhìzhèng 8 (1348). Prefaces by Ōuyáng Xuán 歐陽玄, Sū Tiānjué 蘇天爵, Xǔ Yǒurén 許有壬, Lǚ Sīchéng 呂思誠, Wēi Sù 危素 — a roster of late-Yuán guǎngé eminences. The Sìkù tíyào notes Sòng’s defect of cái duō, jù huò bùjiǎn (talent too abundant, occasionally letting jù slip past inspection).
