Late-Northern-Sòng official, nephew (sister’s son) of Wén Tóng 文同 (1018–1079); compiler of his uncle’s collected works Dānyuān jí KR4d0048 in 40 juǎn shortly after Wén’s death in 1079. The original 40-juǎn arrangement preserved through the SòngYuánMíng witnesses (and in the late-Míng Chén Jìrú 陳繼儒 SBCK recension of 1633) is Jiā Chéngzhī’s editorial work.
