Yamada Seichin 山田正珍 (Sinicized Shānzhǔ Zhèngzhēn; Zōngjùn 宗俊, hào Túnán 圖南, 1749–1787, 江戶), late-Edo Japanese physician and philologist of the Chinese medical canon. A member of the bakufu Igaku-kan 醫學館 circle and a contemporary of 丹波元簡 Tamba no Mototane, Yamada produced the Shānghán lùn jí chéng 傷寒論集成 (KR3ef025) — a 10-juan systematic commentary harmonizing the major Chinese Shānghán commentary lines with Japanese koihō-school clinical practice. He died young at 38; his work was published posthumously in 1789 by his disciples. Other works include a Jīnguì yàoluè jí chéng 金匱要略集成 and clinical case-notes (lost). Reimported to Qīng China by 楊守敬 Yáng Shǒujìng in the 1880s, his commentary entered the Chinese medical-philological mainstream.
