Zhāng Tángyīng 張唐英 (1029–1071), zì Cìgōng 次功, hào Huángsōngzǐ 黃松子, of Xīnjīn 新津 in Shǔzhōu 蜀州 (modern Sìchuān). Northern-Sòng Xīníng-era 熙寧 senior official, rising to Diànzhōng shìyùshǐ 殿中侍御史 (Imperial Censor in the Hall). Elder brother of the more famous 張商英 Zhāng Shāngyīng (1043–1121), Sòng Wǔzōng-era chancellor; his career is preserved in the appended notice to Shāngyīng’s biography in the Sòngshǐ juàn 351. Two historical works are associated with his name: the Jiāyòu míngchénzhuàn 嘉祐名臣傳 (now lost), and the Shǔ Táowù 蜀檮杌 KR2i0016 in 2 juàn — a chronological history of the Former and Latter Shǔ regimes (907–965), based on his own earlier QiánShǔ kāiguójì 前蜀開國記 and HòuShǔ shílù 後蜀實錄. CBDB id 10221 gives 1029–1071, in agreement with the Sòngshǐ and the catalog meta. (CBDB id 47197 is a homonymous figure with dates 1031–1101 — almost certainly a CBDB-internal confusion of two records that should be merged.)
