Late-Qīng physician and educational official (xuébó 學博) of Huáichuān 淮川 (i.e. Liúyáng 瀏陽, eastern Húnán); courtesy name 善吾 Shànwú. Author of the lead diphtheria-treatise Shíyì báihóu zhènglùn 時疫白喉證論 and its sequel Báihóu xùlùn 白喉續論, dating his clinical experience to Tóngzhì dīngmǎo 同治丁卯 (1867) and following years; these tracts were compiled by 嚴承甸 into KR3em031 Báihóu jiéyào hébiān (preface 1907). His position is strongly anti-diaphoretic (jì biǎo 忌表) and anti-warming, with the heroic Lónghǔ èrxiān tāng 龍虎二仙湯 as central prescription. No CBDB record; lifedates not recoverable.
