Republican-era physician of Hǎiyú 海虞 (Chángshú 常熟, Jiāngsū), studio name 壽石居 Shòushí jū, courtesy name 汝偉 Rǔwěi. Pupil of the late-Qīng physician Táng Jūnliáng 唐均良. In Mínguó 4 / 1915 (yǐmǎo 乙卯) re-edited the 1903 Wáng Jǐnghuá redaction of Chóngdìng nángmì hóushū (KR3em030), adding throughout the text his own annotations marked 【諤按】 — drawing on the Wēnbìng tiáobiàn, 王孟英’s Qīnglóng báihǔ tāng, the Língshū / Sùwèn, and contemporary Western-medicine practice (early-twentieth-century diphtheria antitoxin) — together with an appendix of 白喉 prescriptions and case-comments by his teacher Táng Jūnliáng.
