Xú Xílíng 徐錫齡, also known as Xú Hòuqīng 徐厚卿, was a Qīng dynasty literatus, native of Wúxī 無錫, Jiāngsū, active in the Qiánlóng period (ca. mid-to-late 18th century). His birth and death dates are not recorded in CBDB (id 612349, no lifedates) or in standard reference works. He is known primarily through the memoir of his collaborator 錢泳, who recalls that Xú died young, leaving no independent writings. In tribute to his friend, Qián Yǒng placed Xú’s name first on their joint bǐjì compilation Xīcháo Xīnyǔ 熙朝新語 (KR4k0251), which the two men compiled together and which was published in 1818.
