Pǔruì 普瑞 (active mid-14th c.), Yuán Buddhist scholar-monk; compiler of the Huáyán xuán tán huì xuán jì 華嚴懸談會玄記 (X236, 40 fasc.) — the great 40-fascicle Yuán-period synthesis-commentary on the xuán tán sections of 澄觀 Chéngguān’s Shū and Chāo. The work is one of the most ambitious single Yuán Buddhist commentarial projects, drawing together the entire Sòng-period commentary tradition on Chéngguān’s preliminary doctrinal essays.
