Tán-wú-jié 曇無竭 (Skt. Dharmodgata, “Dharma-Lifted-Up”; Chinese rendering 法勇 Fǎ-yǒng) — Liú-Sòng-period Buddhist translator and Indian / Central-Asian-region pilgrim. Per the Chū sānzàng jì jí (T2145), he led a group of Chinese monks on a pilgrimage to India in the early Liú-Sòng period and brought back Buddhist texts. Author of Guān shì yīn pútísà shòu jì jīng 觀世音菩薩授記經 (T0371), the Mahāyāna sūtra on Avalokiteśvara’s prophesied future Buddhahood. Birth and death dates not preserved.
