Lǐ Qīngfù 李清馥 (born 1703; death year not in CBDB), zì Gēnhóu 根侯, of Ānxī 安溪 (Quánzhōu 泉州 prefecture, Fújiàn). Grandson of the great KāngxīYōngzhèng Cheng-Zhū synthesizer and Grand Secretary 李光地 (1642–1718) and son of Lǐ Zhōnglún 李鍾倫 (who died young). Following the posthumous reduction of his grandfather’s rank he was awarded the position of Vice-Director in the Ministry of War (Bīngbùyuánwàiláng 兵部員外郎) by hereditary privilege, and rose eventually to be Magistrate of Guǎngpíngfǔ 廣平府 (in modern Héběi). His scholarly position is strictly Cheng-Zhū: trained at his grandfather’s side, he absorbed the Ānxī school’s distinctive synthesis (which had quietly absorbed elements from the Yáojiāng tradition) but emphasized lineage-and-classics fidelity. Beginning in 1742 (after a period of illness) he began collecting materials, which by 1749 had become his preface-launched Mǐnzhōng shīyǒu yuānyuán kǎo 閩中師友淵源考 (later renamed Mǐnzhōng lǐxué yuānyuán kǎo 閩中理學淵源考, KR2g0052) — a 92-juàn prosopographical lineage-tracing of the Cheng-Zhū tradition through its Fújiàn (Mǐnzhōng) descent from Yáng Shí 楊時 to the late Míng. He also compiled Fùzhāi yǔlù 復齋語錄 / Yǒuzhì xué lù 有志學錄.
