Lǐ Yòngcuì 李用粹 (zì Xiūzhī 修之, hào Xìngān 惺菴, fl. Kāngxī era), Qīng physician of Shànghǎi 上海. His principal work, the Zhèngzhì huìbǔ 證治彙補 (KR3er015), is an eight-juǎn internal-medicine synthesis organised under an eight-section / ten-rubric (八門十事) framework that became one of the most-used mid-Qīng didactic medical handbooks. The work was prefaced in 1691 by the Kūnshān kǎojù scholar 徐秉義 Xú Bǐngyì, who placed Lǐ in the world of high-Qīng kǎojù scholarship rather than the practising-physician milieu. No CBDB record. Lǐ’s lifedates are not securely datable but the 1691 preface and the developed zhèngzhì nosology of the work itself bracket his flourishing to c. 1687–1691, with a probable birth in the 1620s–1640s and death in the early eighteenth century.
