Liáng Yì 梁益
Zì Yǒuzhí 友直, hào Yōngzhāi 庸齋. Native of Jiāngyīn 江陰 (modern Jiāngsū); his ancestors were from Fúzhōu 福州, hence his self-designation Sānshān 三山. Lifedates not recoverable; Yuánshǐ attaches his record to the Rúlín zhuàn biography of Lù Wénguī 陸文圭.
He passed the Jiāng-Zhè provincial examination but did not enter office, instead teaching in his home district to the end of his life. Author of Shī zhuàn pángtōng 詩傳旁通 in 15 juǎn (KR1c0029) — modeled on Dù Wényīng 杜文瑛’s Yǔ Mèng pángtōng (already extant under a similar title) and following the procedure of Kǒng Yǐngdá’s and Jiǎ Gōngyàn’s zhèngyì-style sub-commentaries: documenting every textual parallel and historical reference cited in Zhū Xī’s Shī jí zhuàn with full source-attribution. The work was prefaced in Zhìzhèng 4 (1344) by the Tàipínglù zǒngguǎn fǔ tuīguān Bīnzhōu Dí Sīzhōng 翟思忠; the late-Míng Shòujīng tú of Zhū Mùjué incorrectly attributed authorship to Dí Sīzhōng — an error already corrected by Líng Yuánfǔ 陵元輔 (preserved in Zhū Yízūn’s Jīngyì kǎo) and noted by the Sìkù editors here.
