Yīn Kuí 殷奎 (1331–1376), Xiàozhāng 孝章 (also Xiàobó 孝伯), hào Qiángzhāi 強齋, posthumous (privately conferred by pupils) Wényì 文懿, native of Kūnshān 崑山 (Sūzhōu prefecture). Pupil of 楊維楨 Yáng Wéizhēn — but unlike most of Yáng’s pupils, Yīn’s sensibility ran to severe Cheng-Zhu xuéxíng (learning-and-conduct). Summoned in early Hóngwǔ for zhōuxiàn office; on grounds of his aged mother in Kūnshān asked for a nearby post and was appointed Xiányáng jiàoyù 咸陽教諭 (Shǎnxī); died in office in 1376, traditionally attributed to chúnxiào (pure filiality) — the strain of being apart from his aged mother. His pupils privately conferred the Wényì posthumous title. Pupil 余熂 Yú Xī 余熂 (Xīnān native who travelled to Kūnshān to study under Yīn) compiled the literary collection KR4e0058 Qiángzhāi jí 強齋集, prefaced in Hóngwǔ 15 (1382) by Chén Zhènzǔ 陳振祖 of Qiántáng. CBDB id 33382: 1331–1376, confirmed.
