Wāng Zǎo 汪藻 (1079–1154), zì Yànzhāng 彥章, hào Fúxī xiānshēng 浮溪先生, of Ráozhōu 饒州 Déxīng 德興 (Jiāngxī). Jìnshì. The cardinal early-Southern-Sòng címìng (court drafter) — celebrated as the zhōngxìng címìng dìyī (chief court-drafter of the dynasty’s resurgence). Compared by contemporaries to Lù Zhì 陸贄 of the Táng. Drafted the Yuányòu tàihòu shǒushū (handwritten edict of Yuányòu Empress-Dowager) — establishing Gāozōng’s accession; the Sòng Qíyú zécí (rebuke of Sòng Qíyú); and the Zhāng Bāngchāng zécí (rebuke of Zhāng Bāngchāng) — all canonical early-Southern-Sòng political documents in formal-prose preserved through Hóng Mài 洪邁’s citation. Author of Fúxī jí 浮溪集 KR4d0145 originally in 60 juǎn; Sìkù reconstruction is 32 juǎn. The Fúxī wéncuì 浮溪文粹 KR4d0146 is a Míng-period zhāicí (extracts) compiled by Hú Yáochén 胡堯臣 from the lost original. Biography: Sòng shǐ j. 445 (Wényuán). Lifedates 1079–1154 confirmed.
