Sole identified work is KR3er124 Yīxué yàozé 醫學要則 (composed 1743, first printed Qiánlóng 59 / 1794), a four-juǎn didactic primer in 24 zé 則 covering Nèijīng doctrine, materia medica, pulse-and-channel theory, and miscellaneous-disorder treatment. The generational Mào 懋 character is shared with the slightly earlier Qián-lóng-era 沈懋發 Shěn Màofā (KR3er093 Kuàicán piān); the two may be related but the relationship is not securely established.
