Fǎmíng 法明 (fl. late seventh c.), Tang monk associated with the Luòyáng translation programme of 達摩流支 (Dharmaruci) under Empress 武則天 Wǔ Zétiān. According to Antonino Forte’s analysis (1976) of the Tunhuang document S.6502 and related sources, Fǎmíng was among the Chinese monks who collaborated with 薛懷義 in the composition / interpolation of the prophecy of a female cakravartin into the 693 retranslation of the [[KR6i0298|Bǎoyǔ jīng (T660)]], a key text in Wǔ Zétiān’s imperial legitimation programme.
