Hóngrú 洪如 (also written 弘如)

Late-Míng Chán monk of Yúnnán; senior dharma-heir of Chèyōng Zhōulǐ 徹庸周理 (1591–1647) at Miàofēngsì 妙峰寺, Jīzúshān 鷄足山. Hào Wúzhù 無住 (“No-Abiding”). Lifedates and full biographical details unrecorded.

Compiler ( 錄) of the Chèyōng héshàng gǔ xiǎng jí 徹庸和尚谷響集 KR6q0198, his master’s collected Chán sermons. In the biographical preface to the same text, identified as dé fǎ dìzǐ 得法弟子 (“dharma-inheriting disciple”), alongside his fellow-heir Fǎhǎi Hóngyī 法海弘一 — the two being described as “one got the marrow, one got the bone” of the master’s teaching. No independent biographical material preserved.

The alternate form Hóngrú 弘如 (with 弘 not 洪) is the one used in the biographical preface, while the Kanripo catalog uses 洪如.
