Hóngrú 洪如 (also written 弘如)
Late-Míng Chán monk of Yúnnán; senior dharma-heir of Chèyōng Zhōulǐ 徹庸周理 (1591–1647) at Miàofēngsì 妙峰寺, Jīzúshān 鷄足山. Hào Wúzhù 無住 (“No-Abiding”). Lifedates and full biographical details unrecorded.
Compiler (lù 錄) of the Chèyōng héshàng gǔ xiǎng jí 徹庸和尚谷響集 KR6q0198, his master’s collected Chán sermons. In the biographical preface to the same text, identified as dé fǎ dìzǐ 得法弟子 (“dharma-inheriting disciple”), alongside his fellow-heir Fǎhǎi Hóngyī 法海弘一 — the two being described as “one got the marrow, one got the bone” of the master’s teaching. No independent biographical material preserved.
The alternate form Hóngrú 弘如 (with 弘 not 洪) is the one used in the biographical preface, while the Kanripo catalog uses 洪如.
