Pān Liángguì 潘良貴 (1094–1150), zì Yìróng 義榮 (also Zǐjiàn 子賤), hào Mòchéng jūshì 默成居士, native of Wùzhōu Jīnhuá 婺州金華 (modern Jīnhuáshì, Zhèjiāng). Tíngshì dìèr (second in the palace examination) of Zhènghé 5 (1115); Bìyōng bóshì 辟雍博士 (Imperial Academy Professor). Promoted Tíjǔ Huáinán dōnglù chángpíng 提舉淮南東路常平.
In Jìngkāng 1 (1126) recalled to court; punished and demoted to monitor the Xìnzhōu Ruìkǒu wharf. Under Gāozōng he became Zuǒ sījiàn 左司諫 (Left Speaker-of-Affairs); successively Huīyóugé dàizhì 徽猷閣待制 and Tíjǔ Bózhōu Míngdàogōng. Demoted three ranks for corresponding with Lǐ Guāng 李光. Posthumously honoured Zuǒ zhāofèng dàfū 左朝奉大夫. Sòng shǐ j. 376.
The Sìkù editors describe him as xuéshù chúnzhèng, kǎnzhí bùē (his learning is pure-and-correct; vigorously upright, not flattering). He memorialised against Hé Lì 何㮚 and others as unfit for the prime-ministership; ran afoul of Huáng Qiánshàn 黃潛善 and Lǚ Yíhào 呂頤浩 呂頤浩; openly impeached Xiàng Zǐyīn 向子諲. Repeatedly demoted but unyielding. Zhū Xī described him as “gāngyì jìn rén” (resolute, approaching benevolence). His Lùn zhìtǐ jiāzǐ and similar pieces are fěicè chéntòng (deeply sorrowful) — moving for both content and integrity.
CBDB id 1388 confirms 1094–1150 (catalog meta has no dates).
His collection is Mòchéng wénjí 默成文集 KR4d0169 — originally 15 juǎn per Sòng shǐ Yìwénzhì, transmitted now as 8 juǎn (a Kāngxī-period reprint by his descendant, with much later genealogical material padding the early juǎn).
