Chéngjìng 澄淨 was a Tang-period Cí’ēn / Fǎxiàng commentator, co-author with 清素 Qīngsù of the 32-fascicle Yúqié shī dì lùn yìyǎn 瑜伽師地論義演 (KR6n0015) on the first 32 juǎn of KR6n0001 Yogācārabhūmi. Like Qīngsù, no biographical material survives independently of the work; he is to be dated to the late-eighth or early-ninth century on the basis of the same internal evidence. The work is preserved through the Jin-dynasty Guǎngshèngsì 廣勝寺 manuscript tradition recovered in the twentieth century.
