Late-Qīng physician of Xīnyáng 新陽 (modern Kūnshān 崑山, Jiāngsū), pupil of the Suzhou physician 俞養浩 Yú Yǎnghào. In the winter of Guāngxù 27 / xīnchǒu 辛丑 (1901) Yú asked him to revise the anonymous manuscript Nángmì hóushū 囊秘喉書 during a Suzhou throat-disease epidemic, and Wáng spent the next year sectioning, regularising the prescription names, and editing the text, with collaboration from Xiāo Dōngyǒu 蕭冬友. The result, his postface for which is dated the fourth month of Guāngxù 28 / 1902, is KR3em030 Chóngdìng nángmì hóushū 重訂囊秘喉書. No CBDB entry; lifedates not recoverable.
