Tián Hé 田何
Early Western Hàn 漢 Yì master, native of Zī chuān 菑川 (modern Shāndōng), zì Zǐzhuāng 子裝. According to the Hànshū Rúlín zhuàn 漢書·儒林傳 he is the head of the canonical line of Zhōuyì transmission in the early Hàn — the link between the late-Warring-States/early-Hàn manuscript tradition and the established imperial-academy Yì schools (Shī Chóu 施讎, Mèng Xǐ 孟喜, Liáng Qiū Hè 梁丘賀, and through them the orthodox Hàn Yì). No works by him survive; he is known only as a transmitter.
