Zhēnpǔ 真樸

Early-Qīng Chán monk; senior dharma-heir and editorial-compiler of Mùchén Dàomín 木陳道忞 (1596–1674) at Tiāntóngsì 天童寺. Lifedates and full biographical details unrecorded.

Accompanied Dàomín on his 1659 imperial journey to the Shùnzhì court in Beijing, and subsequently edited and arranged the resulting teaching-materials into the Tiāntóng Hóngjué Mín chánshī běi yóu jí 天童弘覺忞禪師北遊集 KR6q0199, identified in the text as ménrén Zhēnpǔ biān cì 門人真樸編次 (“edited and sequenced by the disciple Zhēnpǔ”). No independent biographical material is preserved.
