Zǔxīn 祖心
Northern-Sòng Línjì-school Chán master of the Huánglóng 黃龍 sub-lineage, styled Huìtáng Zǔxīn 晦堂祖心 after the Huìtáng retreat at Huánglóng shān 黃龍山. Principal dharma-heir of 慧南 Huánglóng Huìnán; succeeded him as the second-generation patriarch of the Huánglóng line. The teacher of Sǐxīn Wùxīn 死心悟新 and a key figure in the literati-Chán milieu of the late Northern Sòng (associated with Huáng Tíngjiān 黃庭堅 among others). His teaching forms part of the lineage transmission described in the Huánglóng Huìnán chánshī yǔlù (KR6q0055).
