Chéng Duānlǐ 程端禮 (1271–1345), zì Jìngshū 敬叔, hào Wèizhāi 畏齋, was a Yuán-period Confucian educator and Lǐxué loyalist. Native of Qìngyuánlù 慶元路 (Yínxiàn 鄞縣, modern Níngbō 寧波). Held provincial educational posts under Yuán — Xuélù 學錄 of Táizhōu 台州, then Xuézhèng 學正, then Jiāoyù 教諭 — culminating as Yīxìngfǔ Xuéjiàoshòu 衢州路儒學教授. He is best known for the Chéngshì jiāshú dúshū fēnnián rìchéng 程氏家塾讀書分年日程 (KR3a0033) — the most influential YuánMíng schedule of Confucian study, prescribing daily and yearly reading and writing exercises for boys aged eight to twenty-five through the Sìshū, Wǔjīng and Lǐxué canon. The Rìchéng was endorsed by the Yuán imperial Hànlín and was distributed by the Guózǐjiàn throughout the YuánMíng educational system. CBDB id 28475, dates 1271–1345. He is the elder of two Chéng brothers (Chéng Duānlǐ and Chéng Duānxué 程端學, 1278–1334) prominent in Yuán scholarship; the brothers’ Wèizhāi jí 畏齋集 is preserved separately.
