Zhǒng Fàng 種放 (955–1015), Míngyì 明逸, a Northern-Sòng recluse-scholar of Mt. Zhōngnán 終南山 (near Cháng’ān). One of the principal disciples of 陳摶 Chén Tuán; received the Xiāntiān tú transmission from Chén Tuán and is reported to have transmitted it onward to 穆修 Mù Xiū (and thence to 李之才 Lǐ Zhīcái and 邵雍 Shào Yōng), and the Hé túLuò shū charts to Lǐ Gài, Xǔ Jiān, Fàn Èchāng, and ultimately 劉牧 Liú Mù. Honored with the rank Gōngbù shìláng 工部侍郎.
