Luó Zhéchū 羅哲初 (also 羅樹屏 Luó Shùpíng, 1878–1943), Guìlín-region physician of late-Qīng and Republican period, of Zhuàng 壯 ethnicity from Guǎngxī. Disciple of Zuǒ Shèngbā 左盛八 (left, alias of 左修之), who is the alleged source of the “Guìlín old-recension” Shānghán zábìng lùn manuscript. Luó received the manuscript from his teacher in 1934 and made it public in 1939 through publication arranged by 黃竹齋 Huáng Zhúzhāi. He is also responsible for promoting the recension in Hong Kong and Southeast Asian Chinese communities through his teaching practice in the 1930s. Outside his role in the transmission of the Guìlín gǔběn (KR3ef002), Luó’s broader medical œuvre is not extensively preserved. No CBDB record.
