Shū Lín 舒璘 (1136–1199, zì Yuánzhì 元質, alternate zì Yuánbīn 元賓, posthumous title Wénjìng 文靖), of Fènghuà 奉化 in Míngzhōu 明州 (modern Zhèjiāng). Jìnshì of Qiándào 8 (1172). Studied successively under Zhāng Shì 張栻, Lù Jiǔyuān 陸九淵, Zhū Xī 朱熹, and Lǚ Zǔqiān 呂祖謙 — the most theoretically-eclectic member of the Yǒngshàng sì xiānshēng 甬上四先生 (along with 袁燮, 楊簡, and Shěn Huàn 沈煥). Held office to Yízhōu tōngpàn; never served at court. Famous for his Shī Lǐ jiǎngjiě composed during his tenure as Huīzhōu education-officer. Posthumously canonized Wénjìng in Chúnyòu 1241–1252.
