菅原是善

Sugawara no Koreyoshi (812–880), Heian-period Japanese scholar-bureaucrat and Bunshō hakase 文章博士 (Professor of Letters). Father of the more celebrated Sugawara no Michizane. Wrote the preface to 願曉 Gangyō’s Konkōmyō saishōōkyō genzū KR6i0318, the principal Japanese Sanron commentary on the Suvarṇaprabhāsa-sūtra.
