Shānfū Xíngzhèng 山夫行正 (dates unknown, fl. mid-Kāng-xī), Shānfū 山夫, lay surname Chén 陳, native of Jiādìng 嘉定 (modern Shànghǎi). The head dharma-heir of Shíqí Tōngyún 通雲 雪竇石奇通雲 (1594–1663) and — on Shíqí’s death in Kāngxī 2 (1663) — his direct abbatial successor at Míngzhōu Xuědòushān Zīshèng Chánsì 明州雪竇山資聖禪寺. Tonsured after childhood hearing of the Wèituó shìshì tóngzhēn rùdào 韋馱世世童真入道 legend; ordained at Língjiù 靈鷲 under Tiāntāi Língjiù Yún 天台靈鷲雲; had his decisive breakthrough at Tōngxuán 通玄 on seeing Mìyún Yuánwù’s eleven-character inscription wú zōng wú yǔjù, yì wú yī fǎ yǔ rén 吾宗無語句亦無一法與人 — a moment Xíngzhèng himself characterizes in the 後序 of KR6q0405 as a sudden xuèrán yǒu xǐng 恍然有省.

Two principal textual products: (i) the 《雪竇寺志》 Xuě-dòu-sì zhì in 10 juan — the temple-gazetteer of Zī-shèng-sì, preserved in the 《中國佛寺志叢刊》 reprint series vols. 87–88; (ii) KR6q0405 《雪竇石奇禪師語錄》 Xuě-dòu Shí-qí chán-shī yǔlù in 15 juan (Jiāxīng J26 B183), re-assembled by Xíng-zhèng from previously cut partial blocks, pruned and re-cut at Jiā-hé in 1668. Xíng-zhèng’s 後序 of Kāng-xī 7 guì-yuè 8/13 = 25 September 1668 is the closing piece of the volume and is the principal first-person statement of his own editorial programme: Shí-qí forbade circulation during his lifetime (“mì ér fú xíng, zhòng shí-xíng yě 秘而弗行重實行也”), and the 1668 zǒng-jí is an explicit defiance of the master’s injunction on the Kāśyapa-convening-the-First-Council precedent. Two dharma-heirs recorded: Xuě-dòu Yì-ān Yuán 雪竇逸菴元 and Níng-bō Nán-shān Áng-fēng Yǐn 南山昂峰隱. Biographies in 《五燈全書》 75 and 95; 《宗統編年》 32. He is also the nominal děng-biān-lù 等編錄 of KR6q0405’s catalog-frontmatter.
