Contemporary Chinese specialist of Dūnhuáng Buddhist manuscripts at the National Library of China, contributing editor of the Zàngwài fójiào wénxiàn series. Co-editor (with 上山大峻) of Púsà zǒngchí fǎ (KR6v0030). His principal contribution was the identification of the previously mis-catalogued Běichéng 98 manuscript (formerly listed as Shìshì záwén gǎo 釋氏雜文稿 in the Dūnhuáng jié yú lù) as a second witness of the Púsà zǒngchí fǎ, allowing the first proper critical edition of the text.
