Huò 豁 (DILA-standardized Yìnhuò 印豁), hào Jìguāng 寂光 / Shèngshān 聖山. LínjìYángqí dharma-heir of Pòshān Hǎimíng 海明 (1597–1666). Born 己未 11/24 子時 = 1619-12-29 Gregorian; alive in 1660 at age 42; death-date not preserved. Native of Nánchōng 南充 (Guǒchéng, Sìchuān); lay surname Yáng 楊.
Formation. Childhood vow to renounce the world; parents refused, so he took up Jīngāng jīng recitation. 戊子 = 1648 (age 30): both parents died; tonsured under Fǎyǔ chánshī 法雨禪師. Pilgrimage south with Báizhāi chánshī 白齋. Met Wúzhuó chánshī 無著 on the wànfǎ gōngàn. Then Yǔncè chánshī 允冊. Final transmission from Pòshān Hǎimíng in 己亥 = 1659.
Three abbacies. Lóngyìn Fózǐsì 龍印佛子寺; Suìníng Guǎngdésì 遂寧廣德寺; Xīchōng Zīfúsì 西充資福寺. Title-form Shèngshān 聖山 references a Hénán seat.
Twelve heirs including Yuèhuī Chángmíng 月輝常明; Xuěxuān Fāyī 雪軒發一; Xiàocāng Fāyù 發育 笑蒼發育.
