Zhào Dǐng 趙鼎 (1085–1147), Yuánzhèn 元鎮, hào Déquán jūshì 得全居士, of Jiězhōu 解州 Wénxǐ 聞喜 (Shānxī). Jìnshì of Chóngníng 5 / 1106. Held office through Shàngshū zuǒ púshè tóng zhōngshū ménxià píngzhāngshì jiān shūmìshǐ — that is, chief minister concurrently controlling the Bureau of Military Affairs. Posthumously elevated Tàifù and enfeoffed Fēngguógōng; canonised Zhōngjiǎn 忠簡. Shàoxīng 5 / 1135: as Jiānxiū ShénZhé èrzōng shílù (compiler of Shénzōng and Zhézōng veritable records); upon completion, Gāozōng personally wrote and presented Zhào the four characters Zhōngzhèng déwén 忠正德文 (“Loyal-Upright-Virtue-Letters”), used to name the present collection. One of the Sì xián 四賢 (Four Worthies) of the early-Southern-Sòng resistance — alongside Lǐ Gāng 李綱 KR4d0138, Lǐ Guāng 李光 KR4d0147, and Hú Quán.
