Dàopú 道璞
Late-Míng / early-Qīng Cáodòng 曹洞 Chán ménrén 門人 of 元謐 Jiànrú Yuánmì (1579–1649); compiler (jí 集) of his master’s single-juan yǔlù (KR6q0364; X72 n1434). The editorial work was in fact contrary to Yuánmì’s own stated wish — Yuánmì cultivated a deliberately silent, ChénZūnsù–like reclusive posture, and the surviving yǔlù was quietly assembled from fragments by the rùshì dìzǐ “against the master’s intention” (per Huáng Duānbó’s 1637 preface). Lifedates unrecorded.
