Mid-Northern-Sòng Hànlín xuéshì, Yìfū 毅夫, of Ānzhōu Ānlù 安州安陸 (Húběi). Zhuàngyuán (top-place jìnshì) of Huángyòu 5 / 1053. Held Tōngpàn Chénzhōu, Zhí Jíxiányuàn Zhīzhìgào; under Yīngzōng repeatedly memorialized; sent out zhī Jīngnán; under Shénzōng called as Hànlín xuéshì quán zhī Kāifēngfǔ (1068–1069). Refused to enforce Wáng Ānshí’s Qīngmiáo loan policy at Kāifēngfǔ — one of the dramatic Xīníng opposition confrontations of 1069. Demoted to zhī Hángzhōu, then Qīngzhōu; pleaded illness for Tíjǔ Hóngqìnggōng (sinecure) and died in Xīníng 5 / 1072 age 51. Articulately placed his gǔwén in the Hán Yù lineage (against Lǐ Áo, Huángfǔ Shí, Zhāng Jí) in his correspondence with Liú Chǎng 劉敞.
