Chén Dàozhù 陳道著 (hào Lú Biānfēng 盧扁風, fl. mid-nineteenth century, 清), nephew (yóu zǐ 猶子) and disciple of 陳念祖 (Chén Niànzǔ / Chén Xiūyuán) of Chánglè 長樂 (Fújiàn). After his uncle’s death in 1823 Chén Dàozhù continued the family’s medical practice and pedagogical work at Fúzhōu, where he was known as one of the leading Fújiàn physicians of the DàoguāngXiánfēng era. He is the principal continuator of Chén Xiūyuán’s Shānghán yī jué chuàn jiě 傷寒醫訣串解 (KR3ef066) — completing the sixth (and final) chapter, which Chén Xiūyuán had left unwritten at his death — and preserved Xiūyuán’s manuscript writings for transmission to the next generation. Lifedates not preserved.
