Jíyúntáng 集雲堂
Collective institutional attribution, not an individual person: the “Collected-Cloud Hall” (Jíyúntáng 集雲堂) Kāngxī-era scriptorium and Buddhist editorial group based at Bǎilínsì 柏林寺 in the Qīng capital Beijing. Active during Kāngxī 51–53 (1712–1714) in the production of the massive 72-juan Zōng jiàn fǎ lín 宗鑑法林 KR6q0246 — the most comprehensive Chinese Chán gōng’àn anthology.
The scriptorium represented the institutional-editorial capacity of Kāngxī-era imperial-capital Buddhism, producing large-scale reference-works under imperial patronage. The specific monk-editors who did the work are not individually credited in the received text.
