Huáng Gōng 黃恭, an author of unknown dynasty and dates, attributed in the Kanripo corpus with the Shísì zhōu jì 十四州記 (KR2k0154). No biographical information survives. The work’s citations in the Tang-era encyclopedias Yìwén lèijù 藝文類聚 and Tàipíng yùlǎn 太平御覽 set a terminus ante quem in the Táng for the text’s existence, but the author’s period remains uncertain; a Wei-Jin or Southern dynasty date is consistent with the style and content of the surviving fragments.
