Huáng Jìn 黃溍 (1277–1357), Jìnqīng 晉卿, native of Yìwū 義烏 (Wūzhōu, Zhèjiāng). Yányòu 2 (1315) jìnshì; among the Jīnhuá sìxiānshēng 金華四先生 of the late Yuán alongside Liǔ Guàn 柳貫 and (loosely) Yú Jí. Served sequentially as Tàicháng bóshì, Hànlín dàizhì, Shìjiǎng xuéshì, and finally Hànlín xuéshì chéngzhǐ with rank Zīshàn dàifū; participated in compilation of the Sòngshǐ, Liáoshǐ, Jīnshǐ. Pupil of Fāng Fèng’s tradition; teacher of Sòng Lián 宋濂 and Wáng Wěi 王禕 (who carried the lineage into the early-Míng Yuánshǐ compilation). His prose, anchored in jīngshù (classical learning) and praised by Yú Jí for yìngshéng yǐnmò “true to plumb-line and ink-cord,” became one of the canonical models of yǎzhèng (decorous and correct) Yuán prose. Posthumous name 文獻 Wénxiàn (whence the title of his collection Wénxiàn jí KR4d0502).
