Shìzōng 世宗 of the Qīng — Yìnzhēn 胤禛 (1678–1735), reigning under the Yōngzhèng 雍正 era-name (1722–1735), posthumously Xiànhuángdì 憲皇帝 — third emperor of the Qīng at Beijing, son of Kāngxī. His reign emphasised administrative tightening and Lǐxué reaffirmation. Author / compiler of: the Shèng yù guǎng xùn 聖諭廣訓 (KR3a0102) — extending Kāngxī’s Sixteen Maxims with vernacular elaboration; the Shèngzǔ Rénhuángdì tíngxùn gé yán 聖祖仁皇帝庭訓格言 (KR3a0103) — compiled posthumously from his father Kāngxī’s court-instructions; the Qīndìng Zhí zhōng chéng xiàn 欽定執中成憲 (KR3a0109, Yōngzhèng 6 / 1728). His Manchu name 胤禛 is preserved in the catalog form 世宗胤禛.
