In the Kanripo catalog, the bare temple-name Shìzōng 世宗 (with lifedates 1678–1735) refers to the fifth Qīng emperor, Shìzōng Xiànhuángdì — personal name Yìnzhēn 胤禛, reigning under the Yōngzhèng 雍正 era-name (1722–1735), son of Kāngxī and father of Qiánlóng. Substantive biographical and bibliographical detail (Buddhist patronage, Jūnjī chù 軍機處 reform, the Yōngzhèng yùxuǎn yǔlù and other compositions) is given on the longer companion notes for the same person, 世宗胤禛 and 世宗皇帝.
