In the Kanripo catalog, the bare temple-name Shìzōng 世宗 (with lifedates 1678–1735) refers to the fifth Qīng emperor, Shìzōng Xiànhuángdì — personal name Yìnzhēn 胤禛, reigning under the Yōngzhèng 雍正 era-name (1722–1735), son of Kāngxī and father of Qiánlóng. Substantive biographical and bibliographical detail (Buddhist patronage, Jūnjī chù 軍機處 reform, the Yōngzhèng yùxuǎn yǔlù and other compositions) is given on the longer companion notes for the same person, 世宗胤禛 and 世宗皇帝.

In KR2f the name 世宗 appears in the catalog meta as the editor (敕編) of KR2f0005 Shèngzǔ Rénhuángdì shèngxùn 聖祖仁皇帝聖訓 (the Yōngzhèng-edited shèngxùn of his father Kāngxī, 1731), and as the author of KR2f0006 Shìzōng Xiànhuángdì shèngxùn 世宗憲皇帝聖訓 (the Qiánlóng-edited shèngxùn of Yōngzhèng’s own pronouncements, 1741).
