Sēngjiù 僧就 (fl. late sixth century, Suí dynasty 隋) was the Suí-period editor and compiler responsible for combining the Northern-Liáng 曇無讖 Dharmakṣema translation of the core Mahāsaṃnipāta with later Suí-period translations by 那連提耶舍 Narendrayaśas to produce the received 60-fascicle [[KR6h0001|Dà fāngděng dà jí jīng 大方等大集經]] (T0397). The combination is recorded in the Lìdài sānbǎo jì 歷代三寶紀 and the Kāiyuán shìjiào lù 開元釋教錄, conventionally dated to the early Kāihuáng period (587 / 588 CE). The Taishō text preserves his 校正後序 / “Postface after correction” at the head of fascicle 1. Otherwise no biographical data survive — neither his native place nor his teacher’s lineage is recorded in the canonical biographical compilations.
