Qiānfēng 千峰
Early-Kāngxī Buddhist monk; hào Wúyǐn 無隱; associated with Táocūn 桃村. Lifedates not preserved; floruit Kāngxī-era (1670s).
Author of the preface (Zuǎnyào xù 纂要序) to 寂暹’s Yúqié yànkǒu zhùjí zuǎnyào yíguǐ 瑜伽燄口註集纂要儀軌 (KR6j0757, X59 no. 1084). The preface is dated 乙卯 yǐmǎo, five days before Chóngyáng (the Double-Ninth Festival) — most plausibly Kāngxī 14 = 1675 — and signed Táocūn Wúyǐn Qiānfēng 桃村無隱千峰. He frames 寂暹 Jùchè’s compilation as a corrective continuation of 袾宏 Yúnqī Zhūhóng’s earlier ritual-reform project for the yànkǒu food-bestowal liturgy.
