Southern-Sòng through Yuán Tiāntái 天台 master; sobriquets Wú-jí 無極 (also referenced as Wú-jí Kě-dù 無極可度, Wú-jí dà-shī 無極大師, Wú-jí dōng-táng Kě-dù 無極東堂可度), Shǒu-lèng dà-shī 首楞大師 (“Great Master Śūraṃgama”), Wǔ-lín-dù 武林度 (after his Háng-zhōu residence). Major work: the Shí bùèr mén zhǐyào chāo xiángjiě 十不二門指要鈔詳解 (KR6d0165, X56n0931, 2 juan) — a detailed commentary (xiángjiě 詳解 = “detailed-interpretation”) on Zhīlǐ’s Zhǐyào chāo (KR6d0158). The work was subsequently divided-and-collated (fēnhuì 分會) by the Míng monk Zhèngmì 正謐 (正謐).
