Late-Yuán Wúxī 無錫 poet and painter; zì Lǚdào 履道. Death date c. 1367 (per traditional accounts; uncertain). He was closely connected to the Yùshān cǎotáng circle of 顧瑛 Gù Yīng — his name appears multiple times in KR4h0085 Yùshān míngshèng jí, KR4h0086 Cǎotáng yǎjí, and KR4h0087 Yùshān jìyóu. The SKQS editors describe his gédiào as uniformly xiéwǎn (harmonious-and-gentle).
In Zhìzhèng 13–15 (1353–1355) he sheltered with 馬治 Mǎ Zhì at the Zhōu-family Jīngnán estate in remote southern Yíxīng, escaping the Zhāng Shìchéng rebellions in Wúzhōng. The two composed the KR4h0091 Jīngnán chànghé shījí (1 juǎn) during this period — the principal documentary witness to literati experience of the late-Yuán civil war.
He subsequently joined the Zhāng Shìchéng régime in Sūzhōu and died in the warfare with Zhū Yuánzhāng — probably during the Míng founder’s siege of Sūzhōu, 1367.
