Zōngjiān 宗堅, hào Bùlín 不磷 (“Unyielding”). LínjìYángqí dharma-heir of Yězhú Fúhuì 福慧 野竹福慧 in the Pòshān → Zìshuǐ Yuánliáo → Shānhuī Bì 璧 → Yězhú Fúhuì → Zōngjiān SìchuānYúnnán sub-line. Native of Qíyáng 蘄陽 (Húběi); ministered in Lùnánzhōu 路南州 (Yúnnán) and at the Sōngshān 嵩山 seat (Yúnnánfǔ, formerly his teacher Fúhuì’s principal seat). Per the KR6q0467 preface: fèn jì Qíyáng, huà xíng Nánzhào 奮跡蘄陽化行南詔 — born and trained in Qíyáng / Húběi, mission ministry in Yúnnán’s Nánzhào region. Subsequently took up the Sōngshān seat (jì xí Sōngshān 繼席嵩山) succeeding Fúhuì. The Qián Guāngxiù preface emphasizes Bùlín’s distinctive lineage-claim back through fù Yángqí ér zǔ Shíshuāng cái Míngjiào ér xué Juéfàn 父楊岐而祖石霜才明教而學覺範.
