Zōngmì 宗謐

Early-Míng Yángqí-branch Línjì Chán master, hào Cuìfēng 翠峰. Principal dharma-heir of 文琇 Nánshí Wénxiù (1345–1418); heads the editorial byline of his master’s four-juan yǔlù (KR6q0355). Recorded in Zēngjí Xùchuándēnglù and Wǔdēng quánshū among Wénxiù’s fǎsì 法嗣. Lifedates unrecorded; active at Sūzhōu Cuìfēngsì 翠峰寺 (the Wújùn 吳郡 seat that gives him his hào).
