Kāng Mèngxiáng 康孟詳 (DILA Authority A001045) was a Sogdian (康居 Kāngjū) monk active at Luòyáng during the LíngXiàn 靈獻 period (168–220 CE) of the Eastern Hàn. According to the Chū sānzàng jì jí 出三藏記集 (T2145) and the Gāosēng zhuàn 高僧傳 (T2059), he was famous for his lectures and his translations. Securely datable activity at Luòyáng falls between Xìngpíng 興平 1 (194 CE) and Jiàn’ān 建安 4 (199 CE), during which he produced the Xìngqǐ xíng jīng 興起行經 (T197), the Fànwǎng jīng 梵網經 (now lost in independent form), the Sìdì jīng 四諦經, and the [[KR6a0140|Shèlìfó Móhémùlián yóu sìqú jīng 舍利弗摩訶目連遊四衢經]] (T137). With Zhú Dàlì 竺大力 he co-translated the Xiūxíng běnqǐ jīng 修行本起經 (T184, in 2 fascicles, an early Buddha-biography) and with Tánguǒ 曇果 the Zhōngběnqǐ jīng 中本起經 (T196, in 2 fascicles).
